Faithful to its monickers of Home of the Champions and Tuna Champs, General Santos City Division and its never-say-die athletes, coaches, and officials mercilessly dropped bombs after bombs of athletic prowess and dominance and clutched the over-all championship crown in the 2019 SoCCSKSarGen Regional Athletic Association (SRAA) Meet after snatching 257 medals, 93 of which are golds, 75 silvers, and 89 bronzes.

The Tuna Champs were also adjudged 2nd place as The Most Disciplined Division and as 3rd placer in the Most Eco-friendly category in the said sports events on February 17-22, at Kiamba, Sarangani Province. (Ronnie R. Sunggay)
