The Schools Division of General Santos and DepEd-Region XII play host in the the national kickoff of the Oplan Kalusugan (OK) sa DepEd Program for School Year 2019-2020 at Banisil Elementary School, June 24, 2019.

Launched in 2018, OK sa DepEd is a convergence of DepEd’s health programs, plans, policies, and activities for effective and efficient implementation at the school level, in partnership with various stakeholders.

The program initially focused on DepEd’s five major school health initiatives such as the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP), National Drug Education Program (NDEP), Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) Education, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Schools (WinS), and Medical, Dental, and Nursing Services.
