To increase awareness of the Filipino community, the Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino (KWF) leads the month-long celebration of the Buwan ng Wika from August 1-31,2019, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1041, s. 1997 with this year’s theme” Wikang Katutubo: Tungo sa Isang Bansang Filipino”.

The GenSan Division Celebrates its opening program on August 5, 2019, showcasing the diverse culture of Filipino through dances, songs and arts of the Philippines by districts, and the closing program will be held in the Division Office, August 27, 2019.
