Young Minds Shine at General Santos City’s PopDev Skills Competition and Kasaysayan ng Pilipinas Quiz

On January 31, 2025, the General Santos City Division held the Population Development (PopDev) Skills Competition and the Kasaysayan ng Pilipinas Quiz at the Veranza Activity Center. This event gathered students from various schools to showcase their skills and knowledge. 

 

The aim was to educate students about population and development issues, improve their skills, and promote Philippine history. Competitors took part in quiz contests and spontaneous challenges, demonstrating their knowledge and critical thinking. 

 

The Kasaysayan ng Pilipinas Quiz tested students on historical facts and cultural heritage, while the PopDev Skills Competition focused on topics like responsible parenthood and adolescent health.

 

The event attracted students, teachers, and local officials, providing a valuable opportunity to empower youth through education and advocacy.
