The response to the call for the 2025 BERF grants has been outstanding, with over 120 action research proposals submitted by the January deadline. Led by the Planning and Research Section (PRS) of the Schools Governance and Operations Division, this initiative included rigorous appraisals and strong technical assistance from the Schools Division Research Committee (SDRC) and the Division Research Technical Working Committee (DRTWC). Our successful 2-day workshop on January 23-24, 2025, attracted 224 dedicated research proponents, resulting in a remarkable 103% increase in submissions from 2023. We appreciate the valuable contributions of our research professionals, including Dr. John Michael Castino and others. The PRS recognizes the unwavering support that has driven this initiative, led by Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Ms. Mervie Y. Seblos, with Schools Division Superintendent Isagani S. Dela Cruz serving as the SDRC Adviser.
