In a strong show of support for peaceful and fair elections, DepEd GenSan officials, led by Schools Division Superintendent Isagani S. Dela Cruz, CESO IV, attended the Peace Covenant Signing at the Lagao Gymnasium today. The event, organized by the Philippine National Police (PNP) in collaboration with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), Task Force Gensan, and other government agencies, marks a significant step in ensuring a peaceful and orderly 2025 National and Local Elections.

Held alongside a Unity Walk and Interfaith Rally, the signing emphasized the commitment of all stakeholders, including DepEd, PNP, DILG, Philippine Coast Guard, and local candidates, to uphold peace and unity during the election period. DepEd’s involvement reaffirms its dedication to fostering civic responsibility and active participation in the democratic process.
